Thomas E. Phillips, M.D.
Doctor Phillips is a native of the bayou country of south Louisiana and is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. He completed a general surgery internship at William Beaumont Army Medical Center, followed by a tour of duty as a flight surgeon in central Germany. He was trained in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, obtaining board certification in 1998. He was assistant chief of the Department of Surgery at the U.S. Army Aeromedical Center in Fort Rucker, Alabama before leaving the service in 1999 to join our group.
He enjoys practicing the full range of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. In his spare time he is an avid runner and fitness enthusiast. Dr. Phillips is an active member of the staff at South Georgia Medical Center.
